New coding and robotics experiences

Have you already participated in our campuses? Do you want to discover other amazing things about Lego Mindstorm Nxt, Thymio, Arduino and Scratch and learn how to use other robots?
The summer centre – Digitus Camp 2.0 is the one for you! Another week immersed in technology using many other tools, having fun and collaborating together as a real team of scientists.

From 16th to 20th July: 8 – 14 years
Weekly rate 260 euros per participant

The price includes

– lunch at an in-house restaurant that implements a careful selection of raw materials and pays great attention to the seasonality of the products.

The Campus operators have proven experience in the educational and recreational services managed by Stripes coop social non-profit organization and have specific training in the use of digital technologies and in educational robotics activities.
Children will be offered learning time – aimed at understanding the functioning of some robots, the Arduino board and computer programming – and practical technological laboratories aimed at building, planning, inventing and experimenting with technology stimulating the creativity and ingenuity of children.

These will be accompanied by games, moments in the open air, artistic and creative workshops: lights, sounds, construction of particular objects, realization of scenographic elements linked to the proposed thematic path, in order to reinforce their imaginative value.

Each participant will receive a nice DIGITUS KIT to be used during the campus activities and a logbook on which to record all the discoveries and intuitions. And at the end of the week … take your DigitusBot home!

In a well-structured environment set up, children and kids will have the impression of being in a space not only for learning, but also for the game in which to make concrete the experiences that will gradually be proposed and will have the opportunity to really feel part of a project and imagine themselves as real scientists, inventors and programmers.

10.30am – 11.00am Snack
11.00 – 12.30 Technological practical workshops: building, planning, inventing
12.30 – 2.00 pm Lunch at the in-house restaurant
2.00 – 4.00 pm Creative and scientific workshops: create, play, manipulate, discover
4.00pm – 4.30pm Snack
4.30pm – 5.30pm Exit

The campuses will take place at Stripes Digitus Lab – International centre for Research and Innovation on Educational Robotics and Digital Technologies located in the spaces of Cascina Triulza, inside MIND Milano
